Author Biography
Alan Sears is a Professor of Sociology at Ryerson University in Toronto. He is the author of Education in Learn Times (Garamond Press/UTP, 2003) and various articles on teaching and learning in higher education. James Cairns is an Assistant Professor of Contemporary Studies at Wilfrid Laurier University, Brantford, Ontario. His research is primarily in the areas of politics, media, and culture.
